Red
River Rally 2002 A
|
   |
| Nat and I couldn't
wait to get to Red River this year for the Memorial Day weekend blow-out
because we were invited to a world record breaking green-chile-eatin'-make-your-own-bubbles
hot tub party... |
  |
| Getting to Red River
is a beautiful ride... Folks, don't get me wrong, there's nothing
wrong with trailers, but they should pulled by a bike. If you put the bike
on the trailer, you're missing half the fun and most of the adventure. Nuff

| I had been nursing
mechanical problems on my 100,000 mile FLHT for over a year and I was sick
and tired of being stoned on gas fumes, when I pulled into Danny McCasland's
Harley-Davidson dealership in Santa Fe, New Mexico. |
  |
| Danny had my exact
bike there for a real nice price minus the 100,000 miles. In one day, they
stripped the goodies off my old bike, put them on the new one and had me
scootin' down the road with a smile on my face in no time flat. Danny and
his crowd are straight-shootin' good people and I'd recommend them to anyone
in the area thinking about tradin' in their scoot... |

| If you're ever in Santa
Fe and you're hungry and have some time to kill, check out a little hippy-dippy
restaurant called the Oasis, it's... ahh...different. After lunch we headed
north following the Rio Grand towardsTaos. |
